A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualaikum, I would say I am striving to be a practicing Muslim (Almighty Allah knows Best). Writing about self isn’t an easy job. However, I will try to touch upon important aspects.

Islamic Aspects
I have my absolute trust in Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah, I try to say my Salah regularly. Although I miss prayer very rare there are a lot of rooms for improvement especially regarding concentration in the prayer. From my childhood, I was regular in prayer mashaAllah. I always keep Halal. I used to enjoy music very much; modern, pop, folk etc. But now I have reduced it to a very minimum for the sake of Allah, hope I refrain from it completely inshaAllah. I listen to Quran recitation a lot you can say. I love and enjoy listening to the great Islamic scholars like Dr. Zakir Naik, Nouman Ali Khan, Omar Sulaiman, Mufti Menk and so on. Among them, I like Mufti Menk most. I think I know very less about Islam. A lot of study and effort required; I've started and Insha’Allah I will increase it gradually. I want to be successful hereafter; I need someone who will help me in achieving my goal.
Muslim community of this time, especially in our country, is divided into so many groups(Hanafi, Salafi, Tableeq etc) (I am a Hanafi as per my family tradition but I am flexible not a blind follower). I don't support Mawlid. Apparently, it’s really difficult to understand who is correct and who isn’t. So, until now I believe I need to do lots of studies to follow what is stated in Al Quran and Sunnah and books written on Hanafi School of Thoughts. Whenever I am in any confusion regarding anything I check those from islamqa.info. I am not keeping beard right now. I hope someday I will keep it InshaAllah.

Family
I was born and brought up in a district of Sylhet Division. My father passed away 12 years back (inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raziun), who was a government service holder. My mother is a homemaker. I have two younger brothers and one sister; all of them are studying now.


Personal Choices
Although I can’t manage much time to read nowadays in busy military life I enjoy reading. I came across Islamic Online University three years back. I like its courses. I enjoy reading articles from IOU Blog/Insight. I like working out. Sometimes I watch good English Movies, especially action and military type(I used to watch a lot but now I have reduced to the minimum).

Profession
Serving Nation as an Armed Forces Officer and I love my job.

Vision about Marriage
For a youth, it’s really difficult and challenging to abstain from prohibited things these days. Shaytan has made prohibited things easy and permitted things difficult. I believe people should marry as early as possible; because it’s safer for all. I believe a spouse is the source of strength for any male or female.

Shortcomings
I'm a little impatient sometimes. I'm striving to develop.

What I Am Looking For
How do I describe my future wife? Isn't it very difficult? I would write a lot about her... as I dream. I know 100% match isn't possible and not expected either, with this being said here I would describe my queen... :

I want to be successful hereafter; I need someone who will help me in achieving my goal, who will help me to be more pious, who will walk with me to the path of Jannah. These days (time and environment) remaining steadfast to the commandments of Allah and remaining away from fitnah is really challenging. We mustn't try to fail. I want to get closer to my Lord with the help of my spouse. This is the reason why I sincerely want someone who will be the coolness of my eyes, help me in achieving my goal in sha Allah.

I would like to find someone who observes hijab. Who observes hijab by understanding the meaning of it. I don't want someone who puts on hijab only for family tradition or as a part of fashion and where she isn't covering her rather exposing herself more.

Someone who is intelligent, educated and gentle. Someone who likes reading......! Who will support me in my trying times.

I just want my home to turn into a small Jannah after my marriage. My spouse will be the hub of everything. I will love her for the sake of Allah and will expect the same from her. Our relationship will be a perfect blend of love, respect and trust InshaAllah. Someone dreaming the same will be good for me.

Someone, who will inspire me in reciting Quran, Hadith and Islamic Books. Who'll take me in competition with her. We'll compete in doing good deeds InshaAllah.

As I am from Sylhet I would like to find someone from Sylhet (preferably). However, character and piety of a potential partner may supersede this criterion; I think.

As I am the eldest son of my family and my father is no more, I have so many responsibilities. My mother and sister (studying in class 8) (until she gets married) will always live with me InshaAllah. I know it's not my wife's religious obligation to take care of my mother but it's my responsibility to take the best care of her. I also believe that my wife will also help me in taking care of my mother out of love. I believe that taking care of parents is like 'what goes around comes around'. Today, if I and my wife take good care of my parents; our kids will learn this and will do the same once we grow old. So, someone planning not to live with in-laws may not be a suitable match for me.

As I am tall, I would like to find someone tall(5ft 4" or more).
